United Healthcare Class Action Settlement until 10/5/10

There is a Class Action Lawsuit against United Healthcare Corporation for all members that have the Empire Insurance plan. You will get a settlement of $50 for every year you were enrolled in the plan from 1994 through 2009.

The lawsuit revolved around United Healthcare giving insufficient reimbursement for out of network services and/or individual out of pocket expenses. No need to claim out of pocket expenses to be eligible. Make sure to file your claim by Oct. 5th, 2010.
