They will ask you to verify your account and ask basic questions(just decline the offers), and the 6000 bonus points will be awarded in 60-90 days.

I called, and they did verify my information, and asked where I got the info from. I said I got it in the mail, and they said that there was no mailing sent out to me. Is this a no-go for those that didn’t get the mailing?

I would call and try again. I’m not sure if they have a list now or not. I do know that many people have been calling, and they know it’s spreading across the internet. YMMV now.
