Did you talk to retention or cancellation dept.? Only those people can give you deals. If they those prices don&#039;t apply to you cuz of location, I would still ask them for a discount. Tell them you want to cancel if they do not give u a similar discount. Make sure to talk to Retention when you called back.</description>

I just tried to switch but they said that the pricing you posted did not apply to me b/c I&#039;m a Bellsouth (Florida) customer rather than AT&amp;T, even though BellSouth got bought out by AT&amp;T not long ago. They said that they still operate as Bellsouth and thus have their own pricing. As of now I took the $23.99 package for $37. wtf. I wasn&#039;t getting anywhere with customer service, got any tips for when I call them later? or am I sol?</description>

		<description>Great post - if you are a current AT&amp;T landline customer, you can also get the basic DSL at $10, which means about $30 for both the DSL and landline.  I do believe there is a one year commitment though.</description>
