A few things from personal experience with this bonus:

  1. I got the $75 even though it stated that this is only for first timer. I’ve been a BOA customer before, so YMMV.
  2. No Direct Deposit requirement.
  3. No monthly fees.

    Thanks for the great info. I’ve used many of the deals from this blog, and appreciate all your work. For the Bank of America bonus, I know that you need to put in $100 to open the account in order to get your $75 bonus in about 90 days. I also understand that there is no minimum balance or no direct deposit needed when it comes to getting zero fees. But does it say anywhere how long you have to keep the full $100 in the account? Would it be okay to deposit $100 to open the account, then withdraw $75 a week later? Thanks!

    Yes. I signed into my account first. Then I clicked on the link to sign up.

    Nope. As soon as the bonus showed up, you can get your money out and cancel the account. However, I would keep it open because there’s no hard pull for current customer for new account. YMMV however if the bonus will apply for the second or third account.

    How long did it take for the $75 to be credited, after you opened the account?

    I signed up for this, but didn’t realize that I needed to deposit $100 initially for the bonus (the linking website with the code didn’t mention this, and their signup process at BoA wasn’t very informative). I deposited $25. Is this going to screw me over?
