Citi mtvU gives you 5% back in the form of Thank You point. For every dollar you spent at a restaurant, they will give you 5 Thank You points.

I have over 20 credit cards. No doubt that it will hurt your credit score in the short run. Read my hustlermoneyblog series for more info on apporama.

However, you must understand how credit score work. In 6 months or so, your inquiries will go away. Your new credit limit is huge, hence making your credit score higher.

My friend, who is still a student with no income, did what I told him to do about applying for credit cards, now has a credit score over 730.

I have the AMEX Blue Cash and am waiting on a decision for the Countrywide/Bank of America mortgage principle card.

I can’t believe some of you have six or more credit cards. Doesn’t that screw your credit rating? I’ve always heard that when evaluating your credit rating if you have tons of unused credit you are seen as a risk and they dump your score.

Also, Hu$tler do you make significant income on these deals and how does it affect your credit rating opening and closing bank accounts and such?

Being cheap free money is right up my alley but I need to keep my credit score good. Thanks for any info.

I get 5% cashback at grocery and drug stores with the Associated Bank Rebate card. I see little mention of this card. It is good at Walmart, too.

Your site is just great. I visit it every day. But I’m new to United States and my credit profile is just 10 months old with FICO score of 711 (Oct 8). I already have 1 chase, 1 BoA, 1 Wamu, 1 DCU, 1 KOHLS (Chase) and 1 JCPenny cards. I got WaMu last month. Is it wise for me to do App-O-Rama? Do you see a possibility for me getting more cards? I’ve received offers in mail from CapitalOne for 12 months 0% APR, but havent applied. Please advise from your experience.
