Here are the details on how to get $200 bonus:

  • Open a Citibank regular checking account with at least $1,000 by 6/30/2008
  • Set up direct deposit or have two e-bill payments for three months.
  • After three months, you will get the first $100.
  • Continue DD or bill payments for three more months to get another $100 bonus.

You can get this offer by phone, online, or at a a Citibank branch. EZ checking account does not qualify, so you must get the Citibank Regular Checking or higher. There is no hard pull. Make sure you have it it writing about the $200 bonus promo with the code via email or chat tool. They do sometime forget, so you just need to send them a friendly reminder about the bonus.

    does a ACH push from banks such as FNBO qualify as direct deposit?

    I think Citibank bank will check actual DD. You can always do bill payments to meet the requirements.
