Free 100 Anytime Minutes for Existing Verizon Customers

September 21, 2007 · Filed Under Freebies

Many people have reported to get an extra 100 Anytime Minutes for calling Verizon Marketing Department (1-800-735-7744) and tell them that you would like the 100 added minutes per month to your plan for free. Why? Tell them you recently renew your contract and you heard of this promotion but didn’t apply at the time.

Here’s how one conversation went:

  • You: **dialing 1-800-735-7744 **Ask to Speak to Retention Department
  • CSR: How can I help you?
  • You: Hi, I recently renew my contract with Verizon, and I didn’t hear of the 100 extra minutes added for free at the time. I would like to have an extra 100 minutes added to my plan each month for free for renewing my contract.
  • CSR: Sure, you account have been updated with an extra 100 minutes each month at no charge.
  • You: Thank You

**Also, you might want to inquire with them to see if there is any corporate discount with your company.

Just tried this, was the NE number so I was sent to the marketing dept. for my region (no such thing as retention dept. CSR said) and this promotion is not available!
