As long as your current Sprint contract is over 6 months old, they will let you renew your contract for a $70 renewal credit. I know because I just got it done a few days ago. So within your 2 years contract, you can make $280 for renewing your contract. This is per phone, so say you got 5 phone numbers = $1400 in credit.

There are a few ways to do this:

Email them:

  1. Sign into your account online.
  2. On the very upper right hand side, click on contact us.
  3. On the new screen, click on Email Us.
  4. Type in “contract” or whatever you want.
  5. Write them an email in your own words E.G. “Hi. My name is … and my account number is …. I’m a loyal sprint customer and I’ve been with you guys … years. I love my service and was told I’m qualify for a $70 contract to renew this number ***-***-****. Please renew my contract for a $70 renewal credit.

Call them:

  1. Dial *2
  2. Keep clicking 0 until you get a CSR.
  3. At CSR, tell them to take you to Retention because you want to cancel.
  4. Once at retention, read the paragraph in your own words from above.

American Express has always been generous with their Starwood American Express card, because you can get 10,000 bonus points after your first purchase. This is good for a $150 ticket or a $100 Amazon gift certificate. Additionally, there is an extra 15,000 bonus points by spending $15,000 on the card within the first 6 months. The 25,000 points is good enough for a free airline ticket. There is an annual fee, but the fee is waived for the first year. Cancel the card within the first year if you don’t like the annual fee. For those in need of more bonus points, apply for the Business Starwood American Express Card for another 10,000 Starpoints after first purchase.

so what you are doing is adding 6 months to the contract each time you renew?

What do you think of Sprint and what type of package do you have?

Thanks.

I e-mailed e-care and got a phone call today from Sprint. Come 6/1/09 it will be one year into my contract. I was declined the credit. After we spoke, she sent this email:

“Thank you for speaking with me today. Per our conversation, at this time we do not have a goodwill credit available. As discussed, at timeswe do target customers for special promotional offers related to the renew of your service agreements. I am not showing that you qualify at this time, but we will contact you for future offers.”
