New $100 Bank of America bonus

March 30, 2007 · Filed Under Bank deals & offers

Here is the new juicy offer from Bank of America: $100 bonus. Offer Code CH100CTA I think I lost count of how many accounts I have with them…**note to self: I need to close a few accounts asap**

With paypal, I send $1 per account each month in order to avoid the monthly fees. You can also make $250 with their Keep the change program.

When opening a B of A a/c do you say that you already have an a/c with them? and login with your login details in the online application..or open a totally new one with your details again?

When you go through the link, say yes and sign onto your account. It will open another account automatically.

Do you know if you can do the Keep the Change program more than once? I’ve already done it once but it would be nice if I could do it again with a new checking and savings account.

    Tight fisted miser,
I have the same question too…but couldn’t find it anywhere on fatwallet. Too lazy to post on there..I would imagine, once I get the first $250. Close down that account, and start another Keep the Change with a different account.

hmm…the offer says I need to already have a B of A credit card. I don’t. Think the bonus would still go through if I use the offer code?

is this for existing BOA credit card customers only? i’m abit confused please help :)

According to the terms, you must have a BOA credit card already. If you don’t have a BOA CC, you can apply for one. There are many around with bonuses included, so it might be a good idea to do both.

What do you need to do in order to transfer 1$ once a month to your checking to avoid fees?
I mean how does it work?Do you need to setup that payment automatically ? Or is it enough just to make a transfer and they would consider that direct deposit ?
    thanks

If you have ING, then you can set up an automatic payment transfer. **if you don’t have an ING account, write me and i’ll send you a referral link**
If you have Paypal, then you can just do a regular transfer.

    Hu$tler.
I’m new to PayPal, do you actually wind up sending it to yourself to send to your BOA account?
    Please describe!
    Thanks.

You just need to add a bank account in your paypal account. You can add as many as you want. Fill out the bank info, and Paypal will send two small deposits in three days. Come back to Paypal to Verify the two small deposits. Once you have money in Paypal, just send it to your BOA account to meet the necessary Direct Deposit requirement.

The terms say one offer per household. I did this 3/30 and already have bonus. Do you think they are tying this bonus by address or social security number? I would like the Wife to open an account too if she can get the bonus

  14. Hu$tler on April 17th, 2007 6:39 pm

or you can use your wife’s parents address. I got $250 bonus back in October by using my folk’s address because the requirement was not having a physical BOA bank.

Does an MBNA (FIA Card Services) credit card count as a BoA card? The two banks merged in 2006.

I’m not sure. You can check with the “Chat” CSR at BOA specialist to confirm.
