Hu$ler:

Chase mailed $100.00 bonus offer via USPS at my address. They do that every once in a while.
Tip: Do not throw away the mail pieces. I always open all envelopes. What you think is junk mail, may be your credit card co. or your bank trying something funky.

I thought so too with the fine print...but the banker doesn't care. Other people have confirmed this. I'm not sure if they work on commission or some type of benchmark they must meet for new referrals...but they will find a way for you to get another bonus. I remember I told them something like.."I need to open this account for my personal spending..so I won't be confused with the other one for savings only" ...some BS like that..and the guy was totally kool. Just make sure the banker promise you this bonus too. I think ACH push from HSBC counts as DD. Paypal and ING are for sure though.

Hustler:

I couldn't help reading the fine print at Chase website. It says ... "Limit one personal checking account related reward/premium per customer, per calendar year." I opened a Free Checking account at Chase last week to get $100 and I am wondering if they'll give me $75 to open another one as long as I deposit $100 in new money and initiate direct deposit (ACH push). Have you been asked this before? If you were in my shoes and if banker says you wouldn't qualify to get the second bonus, how would you hustle'em? Also, do you know if ACH pushes from HSBC count as direct deposit?
Thanks,
KashLogicworks
