For my experiences, the codes for deposts of $ to your account are targeted, and wont work if you have not received them from Sharebuilder.
Just a heads up. If you use a new account bonus, do not enter any other bonus codes (including free trades) until you get your bonus money. I opened on 2/1 with the $50 new account bonus and loaded up some free trade bonuses as well as the deposit bonuses. All of the $$ bonuses were denied and I was told that only one bonus code was accepted and at their discretion they decided it would be a free trade bonus. I guess Capital One is changing some things at good ole ING. Closing account now.
