I would try to get the corporate discount first. It depends on your company...up to 25%. Although sprint is now being tougher for people with SERO since it's so cheap already.

You might get lucky with Sprint Loyalty discount too. This can be done with sprint retention office or using online ecare in your sprint account.

The reason he wants you to call him so that they can get the credit for signing you up. I believe they work on commission.

Hustler is pondering getting a second Sprint line. I wondering why a 2nd line & what kind of deal will there be for that one?

I successfully signed up for SERO! Thanks so much. I think it's a great deal. And I was within 30 days, so I got ALL my Verizon calls for that month for free. How long should I wait to ask for the 15% retention discount?

Man, did I get a RAW run from a [Sprint] rep named Edrik. I'm definitely going to ask for some compensation, because I seriously considered quitting Sprint! He ripped me for signing up via the web--"WHY would you do that??? You should've just called us!"

Later in the call, he berated me again, "Well, you should have at LEAST gone to a store to sign up! [and again:] WHY would you sign up online??!?!!"

"What's your order #? I can't do ANYTHING without your order #! REALLY? Why not? I gave you my assigned temporary phone number, port request #, acct PIN, online username & password. That's not enough to do ANYTHING? My order # was on my computer, out in the van, & I was inside a grocery store. I had typed in all the details of my order, including PIN, order #, temp phone number, and "Port request # ", + my online acct username & password. The agent said, "Go get your order number. I will wait on the line!"

"Why do you even HAVE a temporary #? You NEVER should have been goven a temporary #!" That's NOT my fault! I didn't ASK for a temp #, in fact, I asked for an immediate port of my existing #...

Maybe he was just having a bad day.
