For T-Mobile customers, the unlimited messaging bundle for family plan is $20. However, you can call customer service (1-800-937-8997) and get it for $10.

What to do:

  1. Call 1-800-937-8997
  2. Say english at the prompt.
  3. After that they ask what you are here for, say “retention.”
  4. You should get a Retention Rep.
  5. Tell them: “I heard about a $10 family unlimited messaging thing, is this the place to call?”.
  6. The rep should know about it or tell to look up under old promotions.

If you are no longer under contract, they will need to sign you up for 1 year. If not, there is no extension on your contract. This deal is ymmv, but keep trying and call back. You might complain with your bills and they will eventually give you this deal. If not, threat to cancel or if they have other promotions.

excuse me, uhh what is ymmv? I do have tmobile and no longer under a contract. I would love to know more.
