The Best Shopping Portal: Jellyfish.com

I love Ebates with online shopping since they give you cash back on your purchases. They have been good to me. But like all relationship, you jump ship when something better comes along. Well, I found something better, and it’s Jellyfish. Jellyfish is an online shopping portal with over 1000 stores to shop from. There is no fee to sign up and cash back return are much better than Ebates.

Here are some cash back return rates:

  • Best Buy - 2.2%
  • Circuit City - 2.2 to 3.7%
  • OfficeMax - 3%
  • Staples - 2.2%
  • Target - 5.2% and many many more

Jellyfish takes you one step further by its pro-rated cash back scheme called smack shopping. Smack shopping is a form of consumer auction whereas items will get further discount as time goes by. Sale items will go on sale, as with each second passes, the discount goes higher. You might wonder, why don’t I just wait til the last minute to buy? Well, the items are limited and if you wait too long, the items might sell out.

When do you get your cash back? From the website:

Each time your total amount of Approved cash back in your account exceeds $10, you can request a payment from us for that amount directly from your Account area on our web site. Cash back amounts are paid by check mailed to your valid address. Jellyfish will distribute Approved cash back amounts within approximately 10 days of the Account holder request.

I’m giving Jellyfish my full recommendation and will no longer shop through Ebates.

About time you paid attention! heh…

Here’s a cashback aggregator if you will… evreward.com. It will compare the cashback for ebates, jellyfish, upromise, etc etc and tell you who offers what cashback percentages for a given store. It also occasionally gives you different coupons for use at the store.
