After having not so good experience with flex card, I switched to chase Sapphire credit card and they awarded 40000 points with no hiccups. Sapphire seems to accumulate more points than other cards I have used so far. Also, Sapphire has point switching with UA FF program.

loyalty sucks in current scenario. It is time to keep exploring fringe benefits by way of offer on opening new accounts ($ after first direct deposit) or genuine bonus points on new credit cards. Though at the same time beware of fine prints, such as – owning a card and agreeing with your bank for another new card being offered by bank and after spending dollar amount per award conditions, you are shocked when bank denies award of bonus points by telling that your new card was an upgrade and the scheme was for grabbing the new clients only. Loyalty SUCKS…

Please check with US bank before taking travel card if your case is eligible for award of 17500 bonus points. There is a fine print which may make you ineligible even after spending $2500 in 5 months.

Strange, on their website they only mention ability to purchase tickets they say no cash rewards and nothing about statement credit. Did they change the rules?
