How Card Curator Works
Card Curator uses a proprietary algorithm to help you get the most out of your credit card spending. Here’s how it works:
- The algorithm takes a look at your linked cards and goals.
- It takes into consideration banking rules, Chase’s 5/24 rule, airline alliances, transfer ratios, points and miles valuations, your geolocation, and more.
- The app gives recommendations to maximize your earning. For example, what card you should add to your wallet now and which one you should get rid of.
- The app also gives recommendations to maximize the value of your rewards, like the best way to combine your points and transfer them to achieve the goals you set for yourself.
Let’s look at an example. If you are at your favorite restaurant, Card Curator will use your geolocation to identify that you are at a restaurant and will then recommend you your new credit card that offers 10x points on dining in your first six months.
All in all, the company claims you can earn between 5% and 10% or more on your card spending with the app.
Keep in mind that Card Curator’s recommendations are 100% independent and objective. The app does not earn commission for recommending certain products from card issuers. The app is currently in its beta version and is only available in the United States.
