Looks like I was left out.
http://www.1guymoney.blogspot.com
I am with the “get by” students right now but I am working my way up to the “C” student.
I don’t have a problem with being a C student ! Good to make the list!
I think you were overly generous with me, but I’ll take it. Thanks for the shout-out.
You have too much time on your hands.
I think you were overly generous with me, but I’ll take it. Maybe this is the break I need.
You have too much time on your hands.
Thanks for including me! I’m right on the cusp of moving on to the B category. Watch out!
What a fantastic list of blogs! This must have been quite a feat to compile. This will become a reference post for me and I am proud to have been included!
My blog is way too young, so you missed it!
http://www.usaindebt.com
I hope to get up there next time
I’ll just have to keep going and hope that next year I do better than a C
I’m new to PF blogging, but I’ve been putting my time in, trying to keep posting things I’m learning and things I want to learn about. Thanks for mentioning WMMM anyway
[...] blog linked as a daily RSS read, and I reciprocate - I read every GLBL post in my RSS reader. The Hustler Money Blog graded a huge number of sites for content quality and newness. This blog ranked lower than I’d like, but I guess that I can shoot for something better [...]
Mine is a blog within a blog, until/if I move on to its own separate blog.
I still consider it to be a pf blog, as I post regularly on pf topics, which can be easily sorted and accessed using the sidebar label for pf on my personal blog.
Here’s a link (hope it works). I’d fall into your “get by” category, not because I don’t post often but because I don’t meet the link and readership minimums for the next category.
I’m amazed that you compiled so many blogs for this list–great job!
Wow, this must have been a lot of work. Thanks for including me.
[...] was also included in the Hustler Money Blog’s Personal Finance’s Graduating Class of 2007 listing. GLBL received a B, which I am perfectly happy with! There’s a ton of great blogs on [...]
Thanks for including me on the list. Guess a “C” isn’t bad for a less-than-3-month-old blog
I also got left off.
Once upon a time I was probably considered a college drop out but hell…I was finishing law school. lol
This is a fantastic list!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
My sutff is off teh beaten path - but might be of interest to your readers - old fashioned thrft with a flare by a female - see http://www.myfrugallife.com/blog-pamphyila.html (it’s at the thriftyfun.com site —
And you might also check out my bloggy articles at http://www.associatedcontent.com/pammunro
I have lived thriftily longer than I care to say & it works!
My first C!
But for being less than 2 months old, that’s awesome.
Thanks for including me!
(you really have a lot of time on your hands)
Thanks for including me — still working my way up to a C!
I think I was left out too…
A Frugal Living Blog by a Frugal Guy?
Good work putting together the list!
Wow - that’s quite a list you made… very impressed
Hoping I make your next list - I think I’d be a “B”
Thanks for putting me on your list!
Mike
Hey, thanks for including me on your list! I appreciate it!
Like the others, I would like to commend you on all the time and effort it took to compile your list. As I said on my blog, I think it is pretty accurate. thanks for publishing this list.
Thanks also for the B.
Thanks for the mention. I’m honored to be included in the Summa Cum Laude category. It really means a lot to me.
Thanks for the inclusion!
Great list! I only started my blog in 2Q and so I’m assuming that’s why I was missed.
I might only deserve a C for now based on my RSS subscribers, but I’m growing.
http://mytradersjournal.com/stock-options/
I broke the 10k vistor mark this month and I’m only a few hundred shy of 20k page views per month. I post 6-8 posts per week.
This reminds me of undergrad for real. I had a 3.87 and needed a 3.9 to graduate summa cum laude. Darn, I missed it again! LOL
Thanks for the recognition.
Wow, that must have been a lot of work!!! Thanks for including me!
Hmm, I’m somewhere between a B and a C. B- maybe? Need to do better!
I too was left out…
Can we have our own reject list?
Thanks for including me and for spending your time putting this together!
Although I have to say, your formula of X subscribers, X links, X * 100 views a month may not be ideal. I think in most cases people who have X subscribers have X * 10-30 pageviews a month. (For example, I am a C student by site traffic but my subscribers and incoming links have me at B student or Cum Laude.) Just a tip if you are looking to revise this or do it again!
Wow what a great list! That must have taken some time to compile. As a fairly new blogger I was happily surprised to see my blog on the list. I find pf blogs realy help me to stay motivated to pay off my debt, so I can work my way through the list. Now hopefully I can get a higher grade next time around!
Great list! Maybe one day I’ll be lucky enough to make your list somewhere too.
I’d argue for a place in the B category for English Major Money. I’ve got 391 RSS readers, 183 incoming links (according to a little widget I just used, not sure how that’s really counted) and almost cracked 10K visits in September–will do so in October.
Regardless, thanks for including me!
Oh, and I just realized it’s pageviews, not visits–I had 13,882 in September.
Holy smokes!!
Talk about a serious number of blogs there!!
Good thing you did the list now, otherwise Aridni might have been in a lot worse of a spot if it was from a couple months ago!!
Thanks for the mention, even though I’m a 2.0 student…at least I’m not a drop out!
I should admit that I post constantly…however, I don’t have very many readers…or well, I didn’t know that my blog would even make any sort of list!
Thanks for the excellent list of blogs! I will surely use this as a resource down the line.
My blog is only a little over a month old so I guess I’m in the 2.0 crowd. I hope a future list will find me closer to the top!
Thanks and I’ll be adding your blog to my reading list.
I was left off, though I’m still relatively new. I have 160 RSS subscribers, 40 or so outgoing links (I think?) and over 3K pageviews a month…great list though!
man, i’ve never had such a low GPA in my life! oh, wait, that’s not true. i flunked french…
thanks for the mention. great list, i love checking out new blogs!
Thanks for the mention! Great list to read and find out some new blogs to subscribe to.
[...] just below my friend and fellow M-Network blogger ChristianPF. GLBL also received a B on the Hustler Money Blog’s Personal Finance’s Graduating Class of 2007. Blogs receiving a B had to have more than 10,000 page views in a month, 100 or more RSS [...]
rofl. total link bait. good idea though and thanks for the shout! ^_^
Um, debtinseattle is listed twice (same category). Haven’t spotted anything else like that. Cool list… Can’t imagine how long it takes to compile.
Thanks for the inclusion in the list.
I’m surprised I even got noticed.
My blog got a 2.0…
This blog recently got a 2.0 on the Personal Finance’s Graduating Class of 2007! To be honest I was quite surprised even to have made the list much less be evaluated. I don’t think a 2.0 is bad for only three months of blogging. By the end …

Interesting way to do the list. I definitely like the categories. It means you can’t game the system like you can at school. (Never do your homework but drop an A on the final and still pass the class. heh.)
FWIW, you have EFipo listed twice in your drop out list.
Thanks for compiling the list…I see that I need to add several more PF blogs to my reader.
Hopefully Frugalize will make the list next year. We only started a little over a month ago, but we’ve been averaging a post a day.

I’m flattered that you even found me! While I post nearly daily, my readership is so wee
Really pleased to make the list, I’m hoping to be higher up as I work on this blog! I’ve just started the process and am still working on how to enhance the blog.
bb
Wow,
That’s better than I did in college!!!

A lot of work! Cool list.
The fact sheet for FF is wrong though; we have approx 20K pageviews per month (sitemeter), around 5000+ incoming links and a readership of 300+ (RSS + Email subscribers).
With those figures we need to be in the cum laude group :-D.
Keep up the excellent blogging!
Guess I’m not cool enough…. yet…
Thanks for linking me! Though I have way more than 100 incoming links and around 135 subscribers now. Also last month I had around 14000 pageviews. Anyway, I will continue writing.
Geesh, a guy can’t take a few months off without being picked on (sarcasm). OK, you encouraged me. I’m back in the game!
I think mine would fit into the 2.0. I haven’t been able to build up my readers as fast as I hoped b/c I’ve been really busy with school and work. I just renovated the site, and any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Heh, I just found this blog and saw that I’m getting a 2.0. I hope I’ll be doing better by next year!
I must still be too new to make the list this year, hope to be on it next year though!
Thanks for sharing
i have been DYING for a place that had all PF blog… THANKS A MILL.
