Right now you can extend your Hyatt Explorer Status for practically free. If you matched your old Hyatt platinum status to M Life gold in the past, then matched that to the new Hyatt Explorer status, then that status is due to expire on February 28, 2019

However, you can extend this to February of 2020. There are a full list of steps that can be found further in this post. This is a great way to get more out of your hotel stays, especially since you aren’t spending nearly as much as you would normally have to.

• Availability: Must status match.
• Expiration: 2/28/19
• Terms & Conditions: Must status match between Hyatt and MGM resorts. Deadline is 2/28/19. 
  

How To Get Explorist Status

1. Must have MLife Gold Status. If you don’t already have it, follow This link and hit the OPT IN button.
2. Log in to your MLife account.
3. Match MLife to Hyatt. 
4. At this point you will probably get an error.
5. Log out of your Hyatt account and then match MLife to Hyatt again.
6. At this point, you should see an expiration date of February 2020!
