Starting Today, May 1st, you can buy 2 AmEx gift cards at $25 each and get $25 Spring Fling card for free. Read all the details at American Express Spring Fling Card promotion page. Buy the gift cards at Rite Aid, CVS, Albertsons, Walgreens, and many more participating locations. They will allow two offers per household, hence you can buy four $25 AmEx gift cards and get $50 Spring Fling card.

However, there is a $3.95 activation fee for each $25 Amex gift card. Multiply by four = $15.80 in activation fees. You will get two $25 spring fling cards back by mail in rebate(MIR). Therefore, $50 – $15.80 = $34 in profit.

The $50 Spring Fling card can be used at Best Buy, Fandango, Borders, and SpaFinder. Valid purchase dates are from May 1st to June 30th. Make sure you grab two MIR forms when you buy the gift cards to mail in for both fling cards.

    Seems like a lot of work and waiting for $34. I’d consider it, but only if the discount was instant instead of MIR. Good lookin out tho.
