Starting November 1, 2012, FedEx is giving away $25 free American Express gift cards to 40,000 people to support Small Business Saturday beginning on their Facebook page. Founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses nationwide. The purpose of Small Business Saturday is to encourage communities to support small businesses in their area.
FedEx, a major supporter of Small Business Saturday, will be giving away $1 million worth of $25 gift cards for the event. For a chance to win, simply enter the drawing between November 1st and November 3rd on the FedEx Facebook page. Instead of first-come, first-served like last year, they are running a sweepstakes for all qualified registrants. Once you complete your registration, you will receive an email within 10 days informing you if you’re a winner.
