If you already have an account, you can call customer service and request that they credit you the bonus. I called and it appeared the next day, showing as an Interest Adjustment Credit

sounds good. I just wonder how to take money cheaply out of the account. “Domestic outgoing wires – $25 per wire” and “E*TRADE Bank does not assess any fee for ATM use, but fees may be imposed by the owner or operator of the ATM or network.” and if they print checks there may be a fee.

Taking money is free with ACH transfer. Just add another bank account to E*Trade and withdraw for free.
