from what I read, this is a truly great deal. You only need to keep the account till the $50 bonus is applied. No direct deposit, no 9 month waiting period like the HSBC offer. You don’t even have to keep the $50 initial deposit, you just have to have a balance of $.01 as of April 6, 2007.

There are a handful of BB&Ts in Atlanta and I mean a handful.
That is the only problem I have with them. There are not many branches. But it is worth getting the extra $50 bucks.
