Here are a few ways you can get away from the fees at Bank of America.
1) Must have direct deposit to avoid the monthly $7.95 checking account fees (no problem..just send a monthly deposit, a dollar or two, using paypal).
2) There is also a saving account fee. By having a monthly automatic withdrawal of $25 from checking to saving, you won’t have to pay this fee. Why not make 15 more dollars from doing this?…sweet Link.
3) If you want less hassle, you can put in $750 for Checking and $300 for Savings to avoid both fees.
It is nice to know that they will not do a hard inquiry on your credit if you are already a customer. For some of you..this might be hassle for $140…but hey, free money is free money. I like Bank of America because you can open up unlimited accounts. Currently i have three checking accounts and three saving accounts from Bank of America(BOA). The total BOA bonuses this year is around $750 for me. More info on that later on how to obtain more free money from them using there keep the change program.
Can we use the Keep the Change separately on multiple accounts? This alone seems like a cash cow.
To be clear, I propose multiple checking accounts, each with its own Cash Card and Keep the Change Matching program.
I think they only let you have one keep the change per customer. Although, you can get your wife or kids and sign them up and make $250 more each.
Just filled this one out. Do you know how long the account has to be kept open to keep the bonus amounts?
i’m not sure…you might want to call them or email them. I sign up for save the change with this account. For save the change program, i need to stay on for at least a year to get another $250.
