In celebration and as a thank you to all nurses around the nation, join in on this year’s National Nurses Week for the week of May 6 – 12, 2021! Participating restaurants and retailers are offering nurses a chance to get some free food and discounts to show the appreciation!
These deals are available for all nurses, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, but make sure you have a valid ID with you available. Note that all of these discounts may not be available at your location, so please call in and check whether or not they will be participating to save yourself a trip!

- Biggby Coffee: Nurses can get a free 16-oz beverage with a nurse ID on May 6 at participating locations.
- Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop: Direct message this sandwich shop on Twitter with your CAPaddicts Rewards account email and a photo of your healthcare ID to get a free small sub!
- Chipotle: Chipotle is thanking healthcare heroes by offering 250,000 free burritos. To get this deal, verify your status with ID.Me on the Chipotle website.
- Dog Haus: For every Haus Dog sold on May 6, Dog Haus will donate $1 to The American Nurses Foundation.
- Dunkin’: Participating locations are offering a free medium hot or iced coffee to healthcare workers who show their ID at checkout on May 6.
- EVO Entertainment: If you live in Texas, you can enjoy a free movie at participating locations through May 12.
- Insomnia Cookies: Through May 10, Insomnia Cookies is offering a free 6-pack of Classic Cookies with any store purchase or one free Classic Cookie with no purchase required. Just show proof of employment in-store. If ordering online, you can get a 12-cookie git box for $15 with code WEGOTYOU.
- Jimmy John’s: Take $5 off an online or app order of at least $10 with code 5OFF20 through June 13.
- Krispy Kreme: To show support to those who choose to get vaccinated, Krispy Kreme is offering a free Original Glazed doughnut to anyone who shows their COVID-19 vaccination card. We expect Krispy Kreme will offer a deal just for nurses on May 6, however, this is a great freebie anyone can take advantage of!
- McAlister’s Deli: Nominate your favorite nurse or teacher through May 6 for a chance to win free catering for their work family. Each nominee will also receive a free tea!
- Mrs. Fields: This gourmet cookie company is offering a line of Medical Heros-themed gift boxes so you can show your appreciation with a delicious treat! Boxes start at $39.99.
- O’Charley’s: This restaurant is offering a free slice of pie to nurses who dine in stores during National Nurses Week (May 6-12) and to EMS personnel during EMS Week (May 16-22). All these guests need to do is show a valid ID/badge to receive this offer.
- Outback Steakhouse: Outback offers a 10% heroes discount every day for nurses, doctors, medical staff, military members and police, firefighters and first-responders with a valid ID.
- Tijuana Flats: Nurses can get a free entrée on Friday, May 7 by entering code TYVM2575 when ordering online. Valid ID must be presented upon arrival to receive entrées. The maximum discount is $9.99.
- Zaxby’s: Participating locations in 7 states will be offering buy one, get one free Big Zax Snak Meal for nurses with a valid ID on May 6 while supplies last.
