Starbucks employees are eligible to enroll in Arizona State University’s online undergraduate programs free of charge. A scholarship is granted to participants, that covers 42% of tuition costs.
Student employees can receive reimbursements in their paychecks six weeks after the end of each semester, plus a counselor assists them in any federal financial aid and student loan applications.

Walmart recently announced their student career program where most of their student employees will be a part of their new benefit program.
After 90 days, Walmart workers in the U.S. will be eligible to take part of the program. This applies to all part-time, full-time, and salaried employees. All they have to do is pay $1 a day and Walmart is going to cover the rest of the tuition fee and book costs.

Best Buy offers reimbursement of $3,500 for undergraduate and $5,250 for graduate coursework to its student workers. Please note that only full time workers who work at least 32 hours a week are enrolled in this student welfare program.
High school level, college exam prep level, and undergraduate classes are generally accepted. As for graduate courses, Best Buy offers reimbursement if they’re in the field related to retail. Textbook costs may/may not be included.

McDonald’s workers who are going to school while going to work, can check out ‘Archways to Opportunity’ an employee welfare program. A $5,250 tuition assistance is provided to: Full-time Store Manager Trainees, Certified Swing Managers, Department Managers and General Managers.
If you are opting for ‘Archways to Opportunity’ program, you must maintain a “Significant” performance rating throughout the course/program. Plus part time employees are also eligible for $700 in assistance each year.

UPS’ ‘Earn & Learn Initiative’ offers their employees a strong tuition assistance program for non-union employees who work full time. Part-time management team members and package handlers can also take part of the Learn and Earn Initiative.
Depending on location, Earn & Learn participants may also receive reimbursement for purchases textbooks. Annual packages up to $5,250 are up for grabs for anyone who wishes to pursue education while working at UPS.
