About TOMS

TOMS is a for-profit company based in Playa Del Rey, California. The company designs and markets shoes — as well as eye-wear, coffee, apparel, and handbags. Founded in 2006 by Blake Mycoskie, an entrepreneur from Arlington, Texas who visited Argentina and saw all the hardships the locals had to endure without shoes. Not long after, he built a TOMS, which promised a One for One program. This meant that for every shoe purchased, another would be donated.

REPREVE recycled polyester created from post-consumer plastic bottles using a process that’s light on water consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

TENCEL Lyocell created from wood pulp sourced from responsibly-managed forests.
Carbon-negative Green EVA derived from sugar cane.
Eco fibers like hemp, linen and jute consume less water than traditional fibers and require less chemicals to grow.
Plant dyes derived from natural botanicals.
Recycled rubber for the insoles.
Recycled polyester for the strobel boards.
