When do I get my money?i enter my id number.but it must have not went through.its the right number.so I don’t now what the hell is going on.i would like to now know.
I tried at a bank and on the phone, they would not honor the offer.
with mine, they said since i never was sent any mail offering it, that it likely wont be honored even tho the code was accepted. having said that the $50 giftcard on each end of on yr is a nice deal…so i opened an account. i am gonna try to get the 200 also but if not, i won’t be difficult about it. so, we’ll find out. there is no branch near me for the bank itself, only one for the loan/mortgage side (in tampa) and they said thats who the promo targets…current customers who have a loan or mortgage with them but no checking and/or savings acct.
I went in the branch with this web page and showed the banker i worked with. She said the code was in the computer and I was all set. US Bank is also giving 50$ for the savings account with a minimum of $25 at the $1000 level a gift card will be sent to me. Then at 1yr of at least $1000 balance another $50 gift card will be sent. So i opened the savings as well and transferred $1000 right away so I will get the first $50 now and start the clock on the 1year. In the end I get $300 $200 for checking $100 for savings.
is anyone having mail or email which was sent from US bank for this promotion?
I spoke to someone on the phone-she was very nice but basically said she can’t promise, but, when I inputted the code, it did not reject it. Either way, they do offer a $50 gift card once you enroll in the silver package (checking + savings) and add a free feature (forgot the name exactly) that as soon as you reach $1000+, you receive it, AND, if you maintain that $1000+ average savings balance for 12 consecutive months, you get another $50 gift card. I’m not sure if that’s just for the first yr or not but at least I know i’m getting that one either way, but, if they honor the other promo too that would be even better.
I chatted with USB customer service and he informed me they match the offer with the address of the person it was sent to. Not sure if that’s just what he said or what USB’s bank-wide practice is.
I used that story and was told that only people who received the offer were eligible. The CSR I spoke to said this bonus is targeted to people who have a US Bank credit card as a way to increase their relationship.
I used this code some time ago and opened the account . At the time of opening , they promised the code would be applied though there is no US Bank in the NY area … after a couple of direct deposit, they went back on their word and mentioned that only folks who got the email are eligible. So buyers beware. Just having the code does not seem sufficient. You have to be in their email list. I am closing that account next month.
Tell your friend got it in the mail, and wondering if you could use it to open to get the bonus too.
Try it again Jane. I added one too many letters. Here’s the correct code: CK0331Y
So where did this promotion come from in case they ask?
Is it valid in any state?
Not sure if there is something wrong with the website. Code exceeds the limit of characters when attempted to type it in the promotion code box
