According to the lawsuit, the amount of information displayed on the FedEx receipt violates the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act. FACTA is a federal law that prohibits businesses from printing too much information on credit card receipts. because more than the last five digits of the credit card number were displayed on the kiosk receipts, the plaintiffs’ privacy was unlawfully exposed.

- Proof of Purchase: A receipt is not required to benefit from this FedEx class action settlement. However, Class Members who are able to provide a copy of their FedEx Office receipt displaying the first two and last four digits of their payment card will receive a $25 stored value card. Those individuals who file a Claim Form without a receipt will receive a $10 stored value card.
