How To Book Vacasa Rental with Wyndham Points

Using Wyndham points to book Vacasa Vacation Rentals is my favorite usage of points. They have a dedicated phone line for Vacasa reservations.

Signing up for a Wyndam Earner Business Card(currently 45K SUB) is a great way to collect Wyndham points especially with the 8X for gas.

How To Book Vacasa using Wyndham Vacasa Points

1. Create an account Vacasa Rentals
2. I would choose a maximum of 1 bedroom(choosing 2 bedroom units cost twice as many points).
3. Then use Vacasa website to find properties and see what’s available.
4. The average cost must be less than $350 per bedroom per night inclusive of taxes and fees.
5. Write down the Listing on the website once you know the exact room/date.
6. Call 1-800-441-1034 to book the stay
7. If you need to cancel, make sure you do so 31 days before the rental date. Bookings are non-refundable within 30 days.

Please note that starting Tuesday 26, 2024, the prices will be as follows:

• Rentals with an average cost of $250/night will be 15,000 pts/bedroom/night.
• Rentals with an average cost of $500/night will be 30,000 pts/bedroom/night.
• Previously you could get up to 2.6¢ per point on Vacasa properties, now it’s 1.8¢.

Bottom Line

Remember you can sign up for credit cards that offer big sign up bonuses such as the Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Card and Wyndham Rewards Earner Plus Card. Those who are Wyndham Earner cardholders get a 10% discount on award stays including Vacasa Vacation Rentals. This means you pay only 13,500 points per bedroom per night. Don’t forget that the Citi and Capital One cards can transfer to Wyndham points too.
