Unlike Agloco(an ad viewbar), SlashMySearch is a search engine just like Google and no need to install anything. It is in BETA form which filters results from Yahoo, AltaVista, Google, etc to get the most relevant sites. The main thing about SlashMySearch is you make money by using their services. They claim you can make up to $180 a month and more if you refer people, but realistically, I’d say around $20 a month. That is like paying my phone bill each month. Since I’m using search engine anyway, might as well get pay for using it. Granted, it is not as good as Google search, hence I go back to Google whenever I don’t get the results I want from my search.
