What should I do if I’m just finding out about this connecting rod bearing failure now! I bought my 2013 sti with 60k miles on it and at my 1st oil change sure enough there was a lot of metal flake/powder in the draining oil. Subaru denied my claim due to an aftermarket exhaust and intake but all electronics were oem included the ecu. My service advisor went to bat for me and said that the exhaust/ intake have nothing to do with me needing a motor and turbo. HELP!!!
