Style
The Trump International Hotel Washington, D.C. maintained its origins by keeping the Old Post Office’s striking Romanesque façade and clock tower, as well as keeping the original marble floors, wood-paneled walls, suspended steel walkways and vintage radiators inside. The grad atrium lobby was absolutely stunning with period furnishings combined with the Trump touch. The whole lobby was decorated with Federal blue sofas and chairs with gold accents, handwoven rugs and plenty of chunky crystal chandeliers.
Rooms
The Trump International Hotel Washington, D.C. consists of 263 rooms and suites. Each room and suite is decorated using a classical European consisting of soft cream, silver and Federal blue colors with touches of red and gold. The Premier King Room featured a 14-foot ceiling, a sparkling chandelier, richly-polished wood furnishings and thick wool carpets. Their sleek marble bathroom came with a six foot soaking tub, separate shower, wood vanity, polished brass hardware and Natura Bissé Diamond Collection bath amenities.
Facilities
The hotel comes with a 10,000 square-foot Spa by Ivanka Trump and fitness center that has taken over the former mail sorting room underground, with beautiful treating rooms, a Himalayan salt chamber, manicure and pedicure studio, waterfall, candlelight relaxation lounge and the latest Technogym equipment.
Food & Drink
There are plenty of in-house options when it comes to dining at the Trump Hotel. For coffee, you can head to the Starbucks in the basement for pastries, sandwiches and more.
