Don’t count on Amazon’s generosity 🙁
I just did some of my Christmas shopping on Amazon. I was using my I-phone. In the middle of the process, they advertised using the app for these benefits. I downloaded the app which I have never done before. I used the app and have yet to see these…discounts. Nothing came off my order and I have not received an e-mail with a link or code of any kind. I was going to order the items anyway but feel this coaxing to use the app was very disingenuous.
From what I remember, either the ad for the promotion or sometime during the sign up process says that the credit will be made available within 7 days.
I saw the banner, clicked it, downloaded the app, and never received an email. I contacted them today and they said they have never had this promotion, and did not know what I was talking about. Frustrating.
Same here….Its’ the first time I’ve ever downloaded the Amazon. com app on my phone and I never received an email.
I tried placing an order on my phone just to see if the credit would appear automatically, but it did not.
(That’s what the “rep” told me to do, but I don’t think he understood or ever heard of this promo before and could not understand English)
