When you are at the American Express homepage, you should see the ‘Log In’ button at the top left page! All you have to do is type your username and password into the information bars.
Please note that when signing in with American Express, you have to select what type of account you have:
- Cards – My Account (default)
- Membership Rewards
- Merchant Account
- American Express @ Work

If you have an American Express account, you can easily download the app via iOS or Android devices. You can also text MOBILE to 86509 to receive a link to the app itself and then just download it to your phone.

How to Get Forgotten Username or Password

To verify your identity, you need to provide American Express the following information:
- Your 15-digit card number
- Your four-digit card ID
- The last four digits of your Social Security number
- Date of birth
Then they will send your information through a confirmation email and will prompt you to change your account login information.
