I have a friend who is living in an apartment and she can only get DSL internet services. She signed up to AT&T DSL internet services and they made her get a phone line for $50 a month. There is no need for a phone line because she uses a cell phone exclusively. I told her to call them about the AT&T Dry Loop (Naked DSL) for $19.95 a month with 1 year commitment. In the middle of the page, you should see:

AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet – No Voice Line – Basic
* $19.95 per month with 1-year term commitment*
* Downstream speed up to 768 KbpsCall 1-800-ATT-2020 (1-800-288-2020) to learn more about high-speed Internet without a voice line.
The CSR got her the naked DSL for under $20 a month and gave her a $25 credit for all her troubles. It’s a little slower since the downstream speed is only up to 768 Kbps. For those who want faster speed, you can get as high as 6.0 Mbps for $39 a month with no commitment.
So if you are trying to save money, give your internet provider a call about bringing down the price.
Virtual Bank and ING bonuses:
Here’s how to make $1020 with Virtual bank and $525 with ING savings. Send me an email to hustlermoneyblog@gmail.com and ask for a referral link to Virtual bank and ING Savings. You must deposit $100 in new money in Virtual bank to get $20 bonus right away. With ING, you must deposit $250 to get $25 bonus instantly. Once you have account with Virtual bank and ING, you can send referrals to 50 people to make an extra $1000. With ING, you can send 50 referrals to make an extra $500. These are the two quickest money bonuses I know.
R.,
Did you talk to retention or cancellation dept.? Only those people can give you deals. If they those prices don’t apply to you cuz of location, I would still ask them for a discount. Tell them you want to cancel if they do not give u a similar discount. Make sure to talk to Retention when you called back.
o.k. I just tried to switch but they said that the pricing you posted did not apply to me b/c I’m a Bellsouth (Florida) customer rather than AT&T, even though BellSouth got bought out by AT&T not long ago. They said that they still operate as Bellsouth and thus have their own pricing. As of now I took the $23.99 package for $37. wtf. I wasn’t getting anywhere with customer service, got any tips for when I call them later? or am I sol?
Great post – if you are a current AT&T landline customer, you can also get the basic DSL at $10, which means about $30 for both the DSL and landline. I do believe there is a one year commitment though.
