According to plaintiffs in the data breach class action lawsuit, Sound Generations could have prevented the data breach with reasonable cybersecurity measures. The company’s failure to prevent the breach stems from negligence, the plaintiffs contend.
Sound Generations, previously known as Senior Services, is a nonprofit that provides accessibility services to older individuals to meet their needs.
Sound Generations hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to pay an undisclosed sum to resolve the data breach class action lawsuit.
