How Bumped Works
With Bumped, you can earn fractional stock shares for your spending. Most notably, the platform lets you triple-dip on our purchases, so you can spend and earn the brand’s stock, loyalty points, and credit card rewards, all on the same purchase. Below, we will go over how it is done:
Earning Stock Rewards
Bumped gives you two ways to earn free stock: Loyalty Rewards and Shop Now. With Loyalty Rewards, you select your favorite brand from each category. For example, you can choose Sam’s Club for the club warehouse category and Lyft for the transportation category. Every time you spend with your favorite brand, you’ll earn free stock with that company. The goal is for you to build loyalty with these brands and maintain long-term positions.
Shop Now requires you to first choose up to four stocks. Then, use the platform just like any other online shopping portal. You can browse or search current promotions. All deals will list the rewards rate as well as any restrictions that may apply. After you complete your purchase, the rewards will be split evenly between your four pre-selected stocks.
Keep in mind, rewards often take up to seven business days to process.
Redeeming Stock Rewards
You can sell your shares with no brokerage fees. Any cash in your account can then be withdrawn.
