The LATAM Visa Card has an offer for 15,000 Multiplus bonus points when you make your first card purchase. We value these points to be worth around $225. This card comes with an annual fee of $45, so the bonus will pretty much for the annual fee for 5 years.
Designed for the frequent LATAM flyer, the LATAM Visa card falls short when it comes to earning potential and airline perks. It offers an unlimited flat rate of 1x points on all purchases, a 2,000-point bonus every year when you renew your membership and a 10% discount every year on your first LATAM Airlines purchase (up to $500).
For a better deal, consider the slightly higher fee LATAM Visa Signature Card instead.

LATAM Visa 15,000 Bonus Points Offer
Take advantage of the LATAM Visa card’s introductory offer: 15,000 bonus Multiplus Points. My valuation puts these points at around $225 (more on that later).
To qualify, charge your first purchase to your card. There’s no spend amount or time limit to worry about.
What Are LATAM Multiplus Points Worth?
Like many other airline-branded cards, your points’ worth depends on how you use them. Our research revealed a wide range of values from $0.002 to $0.09 per point. On average, each Multiplus Point is worth around $0.015.
You can use your Multiplus Points for:
- Award flights with LATAM Airlines or a partner airline (more on that below)
- Cabin upgrades
- Hotel stays
- Car rentals
For the best value, redeem your Multiplus Points for air travel with LATAM Airlines or one of its airline partners.
LATAM is part of the oneworld airline alliance, so you can redeem your Multiplus Points for award flights on any oneworld member airline:
Oneworld Alliance Airlines
|American Airlines||British Airways||Cathay Pacific|
|Qatar||Royal Jordanian||S7 Airlines|
|SriLankan Airlines||Fiji Airways (oneworld connect)||Royal Air Maroc (future member)|
LATAM also has 2 non-alliance partners: Aeromexico and Alaska Airlines.
LATAM Visa Card Top Features
Get 2,000 bonus points every year when you renew your membership. You’ll see the bonus awarded to your account 6 to 8 weeks after the annual fee is paid.
Receive a 10% discount every calendar year on your first LATAM Airlines purchase. This will automatically appear on your statement as “LATAM Airlines Discount.”
The maximum discount per year is $500.
If you’re a frequent LATAM flyer, you’re better off moving past this Visa card and applying for the LATAM Visa Signature Card version. The extra $30 in annual fees is well worth all the added perks you’ll get.
But if you don’t fly to South America that often, then I’d suggest looking into another credit card that better suits your lifestyle. For more credit cards, see our latest list of the best credit card bonuses!
