For individuals who performed as entertainers at the clubs and during the course of their work have “have provided topless, semi-nude and/or bikini entertainment for customers” at the clubs between July 17, 2015 and Dec. 31, 2019, then you are eligible for a potential award from the Library Gentlemen’s Club Independent Contractor Class Action Lawsuit!
According to the lawsuit, entertainers worked more than 40 hours per week in a capacity that was central to the clubs’ operations. They say that this should have qualified them to be considered employees rather than independent contractor workers.
The Library gentlemen’s club owners denies all acts of allegations, however, they have agreed to settle the class-action lawsuit in order to avoid the further risk and cost of ongoing litigation. So if you are eligible, file a claim by August 31, 2020 to receive your potential award!
