Follow the directions, which include: allowing the app camera access to upload your check image, endorsing the check made payable to an account owner or TD Ameritrade Clearing, Inc., and keeping the check for 14 days. Deposit via Mail in Check:
You can also deposit your tax refund into your account via mail as long as the check is made payable to you. Simply follow below simple steps:
- Endorse your check over to TD Ameritrade Clearing, Inc.
- Write your account number on the check

3. TurboTax discount and direct deposit: As a TD Ameritrade client you save up to $20 on TurboTax federal products.
If you import your TD Ameritrade 1099 into TurboTax using the “Learn more” link above, you can direct deposit your tax refund into your TD Ameritrade account as part of the TurboTax filing process. To do so, check the “Direct Deposit Info” box when reviewing your TD Ameritrade 1099 documents in TurboTax. At the end of the tax prep experience, TurboTax will ask where to direct deposit your refund. Select the circle next to your TD Ameritrade account and routing number. Your refund will be electronically credited to your TD Ameritrade account.
