Look at their reviews . What they did to me and others . Never refunded me for a double payment . And then on a different checking acct. they tried processing a check from 2 months back and I caught it .
I just want to add that I was just now able to get a workaround to my getting a non-working coupon code by using the chat on the target.com website through my pc computer. The chat person required that I upload in the chat a full image of the back of the coupon that showed all of the back which included the barcode and some code on the opposite end. Then I had to give my full name and email on my target account. The chat person found that my code was indeed non-operational, and while the person could not give me another code, the creative solution was satisfactory: I had to complete my order online which I had already waiting my shopping cart, and then give the chat rep my order number. Then the chat rep was able to give me an instant $40 off of my order, and I saw it applied directly to the order itself as a ‘refund’ so that my order total was suddenly dropped to down $40. I am satisfied with the results, however, as you see it took going through a lot of hoops, and I am now wondering in hindsight if this isn’t some new way target has invented to fight the fraud use of their $40 off coupon that I came across some persons online in 2-year-old posts on reddit as I tried to find anyone else complaining about coupons not working, who were saying how they used an older offer more than once, etc, because by requiring one to actually place a real order, that would keep persons from misusing the coupon multiple times or passing it on. I preferred not to have to go through that due to possible misuse from others, but in the end am glad that I did get the $40 off although I had to ‘work’ for it!
I received a redcard with one of these $40 off coupons, and the coupon DOES NOT WORK! It has a very restrictive method how it can be applied which is only by scanning the barcode through the target app, but the target app fails to recognize the barcode, returning message item not found or oops something went wrong. The barcode is strictly an image with no alternative numbers or code to use if it doesn’t work as it doesn’t for me, tried more than one phone, and the online app gives same item not found or oops, in addition says can only be used a single time, so is Target sending out USED coupons, or are their employees stealing new customers coupon codes and inserting them to new customers, or are they just mailing out bogus non-working codes?
This is the hardest place to pay ones bill. Each month I fight to get to the RED card site just to pay the bill. My computer keeps giving me: access denied message. Not even a phone number on the card to call.
