Upgrade Your Sprint Phone to Touch Pro or Diamond

Many of my readers are Sero users. Man, I got a great deal for you. I just got the Touch Diamond and it is, my friend, the baddest phone I have ever had. Those who must have a keyboard, then go with the Touch Pro(left picture). Either way, I highly recommend it.

Now for the deal. If you can’t upgrade it for the full $150 discount, then use the Ebay/Live method. It was around $220 for me after everything with the Touch Diamond.

Bank of America DOW 3.94% APY

The 3.94% DOW rate is dead! However, you can get the NEA 3.71% APY.

Ever since WaMu went down to 3% APY, I want to find another local bank with high interest rate. Bank of America’s Defenders of Wildlife(DOW) has a 3.94% APY rate for $5K or more. This is one of the highest rates for any bank – online or offline. Even though it’s a special account, anyone can join.

Make sure you check options 2 under Savings when signing up to get the rate. Here’s a picture

I went ahead and apply for this account today. Since I already have a checking account, there is no hard pull on my credit report. The checking is free with no direct deposit requirement. Also, free bill pay and no minimum balance requirement for checking.

The DOW Cash Maximizer savings has a $1000 funding requirement. They even let me funded with a credit card. It counts as a purchase, so I will get cash back too. Once you have your account, you must fund the account with at least $5K in order to get the special rate. If your savings is under $2500, then there is a monthly fee of $12. It wouldn’t make sense for anyone to open this account without $5K anyway.

During the application process under checking, there is a spot for promotional code. Even though it’s a longshot, I went ahead and put the $100 promo code WGSUOISI808. I wrote about that offer here for a different BOA account. It doesn’t hurt to try.

If you are interested in a short term CD, they got a 4.25% APY CD with terms of 90 to 179 days. The minimum deposit is $1,000.

And if you never done their Keep the Change program, go ahead and sign up. It was one of my earliest hustles from back in the days for free $250.

Make $2500 Using Live/Ebay/Paypal Combo Hustle

This is legit. However, time is not on your side because this will go off any minute. You might have heard of microsoft live cash back program. Anyways, they offer 30% cash back when buying it at Ebay for Buy It Now items. You can buy it 12 times at Ebay with a maximum of $200 cash back each time. Your total cash back for live account is $2500 per year. The hustle is to buy electronic items on ebay with 30% cash back, then sell back on ebay.

Follow the steps:

  1. Go to live.com and create a new account (you must already have an Ebay and Paypal account too)
  2. Now go back to live.com and search for “PS 3″ or “cheap lcd”
  3. You should see the Ebay 30% off like below.
  5. Click on it and it should take to ebay and you should also see this green 30% off like below
  7. It is very important that you see that 30% green sign. Now at the search box, search for whatever you want to buy.
  8. The 30% cash back works on all Buy It Now Items.
  9. Then click buy it now, and you should see how much you will be getting cash back. If not, do not go through with it.
  10. Also, there is a box for promotional code. Possibly another 10% off using this code: CFALLSAVINGS10P
  11. Once you pay for it, go back into your ebay account messages. You should click on the cash back message, and the link within the mail. Then you will see the cash back pending amount in your live account in two days or less.
  12. You can now sell back the items on Ebay to make money.

If you don’t see the green 30% off, clear cookies etc and start a new page. It’s important that the max cash back each time you buy on ebay is $200. That is why items around $600 or more work best to get maximum cash back. The $2500 is maximum per live account. I think you can create more live account, ebay account to do this all over again once you max out. Buying gift cards is also a good idea, but it must be below actual value to get the cash back. Some ebayers are taking advantage of this and selling gift cards/gold/coins/money order more than the actual value. Some people are even taking the extra step via friend to friend method *wink *wink. I don’t recommend it, but whatever. Hurry, this won’t last long! If you a true hustler like me, you drink this free coffee while doing it..haha.
