Watch out! I would be careful with Chase – they did the similar promo in the past. I applied – have a perfect credit history – they gave me only $300 – for comparison on other credit cards I am getting around $5,000. So I was not qualified for a balance transfer since my approved limit was too low. I canceled the credit card.

What they are trying to do is to get perfect credit histories and give the minimum credit line with minimum or no balance transfer.

What you can do is transfer the credit limit over from other Chase cards to the Chase Slate before doing a balance transfer. In that way, you have much higher credit limit to do a balance transfer.

I think only Slate come without transfer fee. Although it valid for 30 days, it’s better. The others don’t have offers like that now. Thank you.
