Citibank’s Citigold account is now offering 40,000 ThankYou Points, redeemable for $400 in gift cards, if you open by 4/30/2012. Again, open a Citigold Account and get 40,000 ThankYou Points, redeemable for $400 in gift cards. One bad feature is their $50,000 minimum requirement in order to avoid fees for the Citigold account. However, minimum balances with Citi can be spread across all accounts such as CD, Checking, Savings, etc. If you don’t have much, then consider the regular Citibank Account Package $200 bonus with only $6000 minimum requirement.

Wow!! That’s a pretty awesome deal Chase.
Do you have to leave the citigold account open for a certain amount of time to avoid losing the bonus? Or any early closing fees?
