Taskers
Taskers get to choose which jobs to go for, create their own schedule, and set their rates. To start, complete your profile. Add a photo, write a nice description, and list all your skills.
After your profile is up and running, browse the tasks available in your area. You can filter your search by location, distance, in-person or remote, and by adding keywords. When you find a gig that suits you, make an offer.
If your offer is accepted, you can start the task on the agreed-upon date and time. Communicate with the Poster (the person you’re working for) regularly, so they’re aware of your progress and any issues you might have.
Once you complete the job, request for the payment to be released and leave a review for the Poster.
Posters
With Airtasker, you can see reviews prior to hiring someone, agree upon a price beforehand, and know that payments will be safely handled through the system.
To get started, complete your profile and list a job. Go over bids on your task as well as Tasker profiles and their reviews. Once you select the Tasker of choice, you can communicate with them and make final arrangements for the gig.
Posters must deposit funds to Airtasker to guarantee payment for the work. All deposited funds are held by Stripe until the job has been completed and you release the funds. Don’t forget to leave a review for the Tasker.
