I never received my $50. It’s been 2 months. I went into a branch and did everything correctly, was referred, deposited the correct amount and… Nothing. I don’t like being lied to just to open an account. Has ANYONE actually received a referral bonus?
I never got my $50 and I’m thinking it’s just a scam. I hate banks and only joined because my husband referred me and assured me of the $50 reward. Not going to happen as it seems. I went into a branch and did everything correctly.

The Reward Promo code appears later in the application. It is in the questions near the end of the application.
The “Sum it Up” section is incorrect. You do not need a Pay Pal account to get the $50 incentive. The $50 incentive goes into your Savings account. The Pay Pal account is related to the mobile banking app which has “Send Money” feature which allows you to send money to friends or family. Access to Cal Coast Mobile and Send Money come with the Free Checking account in the Cal Coast Mobile app.
