Style
As soon as you enter this beautifully designed hotel, you are greeted by a sparkling grand chandelier dripping with Swarovski crystals, sleek marble floors and a luxuriously plush seating area. This property is defined with attention to detail, with fresh roses all around the reception desk, with some custom-made furniture and carpeting throughout. The lavish hotel boasted stunning art from Fertitta’s private collection, which gave the property a museum-quality vibe.
Rooms
This hotel consists of 250 rooms and suites. Each room is luxurious, yet modern, with five-fixture deluxe bathrooms, state-of-the-art technology.
The 526-square-foot Luxury King Room offered luxurious amenities, like 500-count bed linens, oversized Egyptian cotton towels, a Technogym personal wellness rack, logo flip flops for the pool, and an all-white marble bathroom with custom-beaded crystal light fixtures and Acqua Di Parma toiletries. The room still comes with modern features such as a TV that seamlessly blends into the credenza, bluetooth-enabled in -ceiling speakers, complimentary iPads, and push-button drapes, temperature and light controls.
Facilities
Surrounded by the chic cabanas are the outdoor pool that offers a relaxing setting to enjoy the sun. The 24-hour fitness center featured Technogym cardio and strength-training equipment, as well as Peloton bikes, Lululemon accessories and personal trainers by appointment. A salon was also onsite, providing hair cuts and styling along with nail services and skincare treatments.
The star of the property though is The Spa at The Post Oak Hotel. There is a reason for this because it boasts a 20,000-square-foot space was an urban sanctuary with tranquility pools, aromatherapy-infused steam rooms, detoxifying saunas, multi-sensory thermal showers and quiet lounges with zero gravity chairs.
Other services and amenities they have include a 35,000-square-foot conference facility and meeting space, a library stocked with Assouline books, a ready-to-wear boutique and complimentary chauffeured transportation in a Bentley or Rolls Royce within a two-mile radius.
Food & Drink
In terms of dining, Mastro’s is a famous steakhouse that offers live entertainment in an elegant yest energetic atmosphere, Willie G’s Seafood for contemporary Gulf Coast fare made with local, seasonal ingredients, Bloom & Bee with creative, sustainable dishes under an elaborate canopy of glass-blown flowers, and Craft F&B for elevated comfort food and pub-style bites in a modern-industrial space. Service
The staff at the Post Oak Hotel were pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Service was smooth and efficient from check-in to check-out. Bellmen opened the lobby doors for us, check-in was painless, cabana boys delivered sunscreen and refreshments a,nd the concierge was able to arrange helicopter transport to NASA from the rooftop helipad. Even the turn down service was special, with a different handmade chocolate each night of our stay.

The 10-acre Post Oak Hotel was located in the city’s chic Post Oak Uptown area, close to the Galleria shopping and entertainment mecca and a short drive to recently revitalized downtown Houston.
