he $250 or $350 checking bonus offers have been extended through 12/31/24.
this one is dead. at least i called before driving an hour.
I was approved for this promotion when I signed up in branch in Novi, MI. However; the branch manager had to send a manual e-mail to the HQ office to get the promotion “activated”.
The banker had no idea about this promotion when I stopped by and had to call the main HQ office.
The new version of this appears to be targeted at existing flagstar customers who don’t have a personal checking account. I was denied this promo in branch.
The promotion ended 5/14/2018, per an online chat with the bank. I missed it by one day!
