Guests are immediately faced with a glamorous lobby designed by the the famed French designer Jacques Grange. The lobby is built with a bold black-and-white striped marble floor, bold art, metallic accents and plush, custom furnishings.
Overall, The Mark has a contemporary, luxurious, and sexy atmosphere that is perfect for fashion elite– especially during the annual Met Gala.
Rooms
All 152 rooms and suites at The Mark are designed by Jacques Grange. Rooms are designed in a subdued and residential style, contrasting the dramatic hotel lobby that is decked in ebony, sycamore, and nickel furnishings.
Rooms are draped with Quagliotti linens, marble baths and Crestron panels to control lighting, temperature, entertainment and shades. The bathroom exudes luxury with its double wash basins, deep soaking tub, separate glass shower, heated towel racks and La Bottega dell’Albergo bath products.
Guests will get to enjoy was the sleek, black-granite bar with SubZero drawers: one for ice, the second for beverages, and a third for snacks.
Facilities
“The Mark Experience” includes the in-house Frédéric Fekkai Hair Salon, a 1,400-square-foot fitness center, special access to personal shoppers and expert advice from Bergdorf Goodman, The Mark Bikes, The Mark Pedicabs, an Assouline Coffee Table Bookshop, John Lobb-certified shoe polishers, and Le Shop featuring a curated collection of bespoke products.
Guests can take the flashy Mark Bikes, adorned with a striped chain case and a monogrammed bell, out for a spin in Central Park. To-go lunches made by celebrated chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten are available to complete an ultimate picnic with everything you’d need – a blanket, cutlery, condiments and an illustrated bike map by the hotel’s own concierge.
Food & Drink
The Mark Restaurant serves French-American cuisine at all times of day, from breakfast to dinner and 24-hour room service. Award-winning chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, leads the restaurant staff and oversees recipes.
To compliment the restaurant, The Mark Bar offers hand-crafted classic and signature cocktails. This chic and lively spot is the perfect place to relax and mingle.
