Redeeming Asiana Club Dollars
Asiana Club Miles are often used for award flights with Asiana and partner airlines. Click here, then Mileage Deduction Table, to determine the number of miles you need for a particular redemption.
Additionally, you can choose to redeem for upgrades and flight extras such as lounge passes, extra baggage, paid seat services and more. Unlike most other frequent flyer programs, Asiana Club doesn’t offer merchandise or gift card redemptions.
Asiana Club Tips & Tricks
Best value awards. Asiana Club offers exceptional deals for off-peak awards between the United States and Korea on Asiana, and from the U.S. to Europe or Latin America on a Star Alliance partner.
Worst value awards. We don’t recommend redeeming for premium cabins on flights to Australia and non-Korean Asian destinations. They’re priced much cheaper with other frequent flyer programs.
Routing rules. You’re allowed two stopovers (one in each direction) or a stopover and a single open-jaw on award tickets.
Peak season. Be forewarned, peak season award tickets cost 50% more than off-peak.
Fuel surcharges. Also FYI, Asiana Club adds fuel surcharges to award flights, but they’re not unreasonably high considering its superior product and services.
Bottom Line
Asiana Club is an average loyalty program that offers some good earning potential and some of the best redemptions rates for travel from the United States to Korea, Europe to Latin America, and more.
